King's Dominion with Maya

The weather was threatening as we packed up the beach house and it rained pretty hard as we drove back to Virginia. But the weather cleared up by the time we passed Richmond so King’s Dominion was back on the schedule. Maya had a blast riding all the kids’ rides. She did not want anything to do with the scary cave ride and the Scooby-Doo haunted house ride. But she did ride on the Avalanche (bob-sled coaster) with me and loved it. Maya really loved watching the Volcano and was sad that she was not big enough to go on it. She liked watching the upside-down parts and the fire. Based on her reaction earlier in the day, I think the real challange would be getting her through the line since it has cave-like sections that she does not like. I can't wait to return when she is big enough. Maybe we will make it a goal to ride all the top ranked coasters in the country! Here are the rest of the pictures.
