The Rush of Rock!

Do you like that blog title? For some of you, your first thought might have been that this post is going to be about my love of RUSH (the greatest rock group ever!). But you would be wrong! This post is actually about getting back onto the rock after nearly three years. Curtis lead us to a great spot in American Fork Canyon where most of us top-roped a very nice 5.7 (which Curtis lead for us). Curtis then worked out a 5.11a/b lead. The Adreneline Rush! The Pump of the Muscles! The Mind Game! The Forcing of your Will (and Muscles) to Try just One Last Time! Watching Maya Cranking out the Moves! Watching Maya having a Blast Coming Back Down! Teaching Justin how to Belay! Wathcing Justin Complete the Same Route with only Tennis Shoes! Watching Brittany Smack the Chains at the Top! Watching Curtis Tackle an Amazing Route!
