Hookie with Tara on the Alpine Loop

While Tara was in town last month, we decided that I really needed to not go to work on Tuesday. Instead, Tara and I spent the day driving the Alpine Loop. This includes Spanish Fork Canyon, Cascade Springs, and Provo Canyon along with Timpanagos Cave, Sundance Ski Resort, and Bridal Veil Falls. The weather was perfect, the leaves were gorgeous, and since it was a weekday afternoon, the traffic was very light. Tara was trying to figure out the nuances of her new DSLR and well, so was I! Although my DSLR is 5 years old, I am still trying to learn how to take better pictures. My ratio of decent to crap seems to be improving, so I am happy that there seems to be progress.
